Race Result: Bristol Clipper 2nd place!

The Bristol Clipper was one of 8 yachts racing around the world in the 2002 Global Clipper Race.

Having set sail from Liverpool on October 28th 2002 with the national media spotlight on them, the eight boats took eleven months to circum-navigate the globe.

Human Ecology worked with the Bristol crew before they set sail to help them work most effectively as a team during the eleven month race. Motivation, conflict, work styles and relationships were all things we tackled to help them cope with enduring the cramped conditions over the entire race.

Most excitingly, the crew were using the PEP monitor to profile how each of them changed and developed as individuals over the race. The Clipper experience is about personal challenge, and Human Ecology were helping to make it transformational.
