The costs of implementing a PEP evaluation system are broken down into three components:

1. System build

The cost of building your online system has been largely absorbed by Human Ecology already, in developing a flexible online platform upon which your particular requirements can be added. The cost of your bespoke development will depend on the complexity, size and number of features you build on and may range between £2000-£10,000.

2. Training and Licensing

The cost of training your staff will depend on the level of training they require (whether they will coach and train using the PEP or merely use it to evaluate existing training etc...). Typically, training lasts a minimum of 2 days and costs from £1000/individual and is a one-off intervention.

An annual licence fee of £1500 is then payable for each person trained.

3. PEP evaluation accounts

A PEP evaluation account allows an individual to log-in and use the monitoring system a specified number of times- from 3 upwards. The cost of an evaluation account depends on the number of log-in accesses and quantity of feedback that the system has been set up to generate- from £30-£80.

Large discounts (between 30-50%) are available for bulk purchases. The unit cost/individual, including initial costs, may work out as low as £26 (see example table below).

The unit costs in subsequent years will continue to fall having invested in one-off system development and training costs.
